An aristocratic Montagu enveloped the life as a writer by drawing from a more masculine point of view which she didn't push for more equality or education for women. Her personal experiences led to this viewpoint as she had to keep the house for her father after her mother died. She was a rebel so to say in that she was exstatic for what privileges men had and showed that by not wearing wigs and breaking other moral codes.
